Scholarship Program

Law enforcement officers often see first-hand the negative results of the lack of parental involvement, mentors and youth programs. Their experiences have made them strong allies of the Brian Klinefelter Foundation and its efforts to cultivate a community that grows great kids.

At the Foundation, we believe in supporting not only law enforcement officers currently serving our communities, but also inspiring the next generation to serve. Our annual scholarship program is among the ways we work to show our appreciation of their work and promote this valuable career.

The Brian Klinefelter Scholarship

The Brian Klinefelter Scholarship Fund was set up not only to keep Brian's memory alive, but to support students who exemplify the type of officer that Brian was.
The Brian Klinefelter Scholarship Fund provides two, $600 scholarships each year. One is awarded to a graduate of a St. Cloud-area high school. The other benefits a student currently attending Alexandria Technical College.
Both scholarships support students who are either planning on attending, or currently attending, a post-secondary education program to prepare for a career in law enforcement.

The Klinefelter Family Scholarship

The Klinefelter Family Scholarship Fund benefits children of public service employees. The scholarship is intended for the child of a law enforcement officer, paramedic or firefighter working in the 11-county St. Cloud metro area.

The Klinefelter Family Scholarship Fund awards one $350 scholarship each year.
